1 MW Rooftop Solar Power Plant at TNPL Unit-1 & Unit-2

Nexsun Energy has successfully installed a 1 MW Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant at TNPL Unit-1 (July 2025) and TNPL Unit-2 (October 2025) — generating clean, renewable electricity for captive consumption using high-efficiency solar PV modules and grid-connected inverters.

  • Annual clean energy generation: ~1.4–1.6 million kWh per year per installation
  • CO₂ offset: ~1,200–1,500 metric tons annually
  • Equivalent to planting 50,000–60,000 mature trees
  • Featured in TNPL's house magazine Kagithamalar — Vol. 27, Issue 4
